Hi Folks, You know the song, "The 12 Days of Christmas"? Well go to my web site to see "The 12 Years of Genealogy" My daughter Cathy wrote the poem and I had the fun of finding the graphics to go with it. I'm not sure if my son Joel actually looked at it before putting it on the web as it has his photo on the page of 12 mixed up relatives. Anyway, just go to the front page of my web site (URL below) and click on the Christmas Greetings. Hi Kathy In response to your query re the name "Jas" in my experience it has been a shortened version of James so maybe you could try looking under the name James Kendall. Hope this helps. Hi all First of all thanks heaps to all who answered my question on Sandhurst in case I missed someone.. Now I have another question..Can anyone tell me if Jas is a shortened form of another name?..Could it perhaps mean Joseph?..I'm looking for Joseph Kendall's arrival in OZ..Another kind researcher was able to find the arrival his wife Maria and 1 year old infant son Thomas in 1853..I have found two Joseph's but one is to young and the other arrived to late..I found a JAS Kendall arriving about 8 months before Maria,I'm assuming that perhaps Joseph came out first and Maria followed later because of the baby. I received this request from Syd, who is looking for branches of his McPEAK family from Londonderry, Ireland, who went to Australia. Syd has no forenames or dates, but I've checked Aust White Pages on-line & sent him all the residential listings of McPEAK in Australia. Fortunately for him, it appears McPEAK is very uncommon here. if there is a North Altona in Victoria. The Melbourne suburb of Altona, right on the bay a few minutes from the city, lots of heavy industry & oil refining, plus a very nice little beach. susanna
Ken, I do not understand you making a comment such as you have, as it has got a memorial park and "STILL" has a crematorium attached to it and operating. Hello all I am doing research on a Lawson family hear in Australia in fact William Lawson the early explorer of Prospect, NSW. I was wondering if anyone was researching the Brown family of Hartree and Edmonton, in Scotland, as I am aware that some of them came to Australia. Other families that connect to the Brown family are Tweedie and Strang if anyone has any connections to these families however related or even just one name I would appreciate hearing from you. Warm Regards Hazel

Hi! Kathy Have you considered that the Sandhurst you are looking for may be in England. If so there are three of them. They are in Berkshire, Gloucestershire and Kent. Hope this helps you. Bernie.
