A person of interest in my research was said to have been a native of Kimo, near Gundagai. He was born in 1848. I am curious to know what Kimo was at this time - ie a locality, sheep station, mining area or ? I am aware that Kimo homestead was built in 1872 and that gold mining occurred at Kimo at some stage. I am also aware of Mt Kimo which is located to the west of the town. All of what I have so far discovered about Kimo refers to much later dates than when my chap was born there. Any information would be appreciated. Thanks Ian Ian Loiterton Canberra, ACT, Australia Researching Barnett, Douglas, Hand, Kildea, Loiterton, Palmer, Ramsey, Webber, Youlten
