Hello Everyone I really need some help please. I spent most of the morning looking at Electoral Rolls for NSW and Interstate and no luck at all. I am searching for my Cousin Marilyn Elizabeth Foreman born 11/12/1943 Married a man called David Collins about 1963-64 in Sydney and used to live at Roseville. Marilyn Mother was Ellen Ross Cullen who Married Stuart James Foreman 28/10/1940 then Married Charles Frederick James Cartledge in 1950 or later. If any one knows of Marilyn and David Collins I would be most grateful I have spent over two years finding them unsuccessfully. Kindest Reagrds Grahame

Hi Mike I think there was an early PIKE family who were in the Penrith and St Mary's [west of Sydney,] areas of New South Wales and also in the Parramatta/Toongabbie district of NSW. AUS-NSW-PENRITH-L or D list of rootsweb If you subscribe in the usual way I am sure you will pick up a contact here. There does not appear to be a Parramatta or Toongabbie webpage. I found a Joseph Pike arriving in 1828 but not a Henry Pike on the NSW Archives site. http://www.records.nsw.gov.au/default.htm Hope the following helps. Everyone's entitled to their own opinion on such matters, but I think bringing up such "contraversial issues" (well to some) is bad news. it'll only end up with a long winded argument on the list. Hello Everyone I tuned in last night on the late news that Tasmania passed a bill allowing same sex couples to have children. This I think will create problems with our family trees in the future what does every one else think. For EG: Two women living together lets us say thay have a boy child and this child grows up and find he has no father. Two males want to bring up a child but no mother. I just feel that in years to come we are going to find it very difficult doing a family history. Regards Grahame

Hello Australia. Is anyone able to help with the following please or will you redirect me to some other list. Thanks. I have been recently informed that Henry PIKE, police number 474, arrived on the "Marmion" 8.3 1828. Also that a Joseph PIKE was "discommoned 10 June 1828 being convicted of a felony and transported" from Malmesbury, Wilts. I presume he "went" to Australia!
