    1. Mackay Hotels and Publicans updated to 1935
    2. GLEN HALL
    3. Dear listers, friends , romans, countryman After many more hours and hours and hours of research and transcribing (over 5000 entries on my database). I have updated the listings of Mackay district hotels and Licensees up to 1935 and some later. Please note this is done as a free service for researchers and family historians as part of our society's policy of promoting the history of Mackay and district. So feel free to download as a resource for your own society's records or link to our pages. to see the updated pages go to http://www.geocities.com/ghh_mackay/research/research.html and follow the links. I am always looking for more information on hotels and licensees if anyone can help and I am in the process of continually updating the reference sources next to the entries, which I neglected to do at the start for the first drafts (I did not realise at the time that it would be bigger then Ben Hur). I would like to add photographs in the future from our collection but webspace does not allow it...So if anyone knows of anyone who would be able to supply us with free webhosting beyond 15mb limit please let me know. Cheers from Glen Hall Research Officer Mackay Historical Society and Museum Inc. Po Box 1349, MACKAY QLD 4740. email: [email protected] our website: http://www.geocities.com/mackaymuseum/index.html
