How interesting-- there is a John Caldwell Calhoun Austin in = my family line, but he was born Jan. 27, 1846 in Orangeburg, SC. His father = was Elijah Andrew Austin, b. April 6, 1814, in old Craven(Fairfield) Co., SC, married to Julia Sutton Dec. 3, 1835. That is also fascinating about t= he Lott link-- my g.g.g.mother was Sallie Lott (1851-1931) m. James Henry Eidson, residing in Edgefield and Aiken Co., SC.. I haven't yet begun my "LOTT" research, and don't know where she was originally from. Will have= to check out this Fairfield county Lott family!
