AUSTIN b 1831 came to North AL, Morgan Co. before 1845, but I have not found him on the 1850 census. Just the marriage of his sister, Nancy AUSTIN in Morgan Co. John's parents were both born in SC but I have never been able to identify them. His first son was named Thomas J. L. AUSTIN b 1859 in Morgan Co, AL. John's 1st wife was Elizabeth EDWARDS, his second was her sister, Mary Easter EDWARDS, his third was Margaret HENDERSON SIMMONS.
