I am researching descendents of Thomas AUSTIN, born abt 1790 in England. He immigrated to America with his wife and seven children. His wife and one child reportedly died at sea. Children of THOMAS AUSTIN and are: 1-THOMAS AUSTIN, (II), b. December 09, 1824, England; d. July 04, 1899, Watervliet, Berrien, Michigan. 2-WILLIAM AUSTIN, b. Abt. 1825, England; d. August 07, 1874, Ogden, Weber, Utah. 3-PHILIP AUSTIN, b. Abt. 1830, England. 4-GEORGE AUSTIN, b. Abt. 1832, England 5-(FIRST NAME UNKNOWN) AUSTIN, b. Unknown, England; d. Unknown, At sea (Atlantic Ocean) 6-GRACE AUSTIN, b. Unknown, England; d. Unknown. 7-JAMES AUSTIN, b. Unknown, England; d. Unknown. I have located Thomas Austin and this family in Ohio,US in 1843. I don't know when they arrived in the states, where they were from in England, or the port of entry. The last child above that I have a birth date for is George in England, 1832. So they must have come to the states between 1832 and 1843. If I could locate a family in an England census (1820/30)with the same names & ages I would probably have the family I'm looking for.
