When I looked at your subject, I almost fainted, my father's name was James Jackson Austin, but he was born in La. in 1895.. I am looking for Richard Austin who was born in Va. abt.1724 married Ann Heard abt.1759. He shows up in Wilkes Co. Ga abt.1770 with his wife, Ann. They hads two children that I know of, Jane Austin, John Austin. John married Francis "Fannie" Crittenden in Richmond Co. Ga.12 Aug. 1788. John and Fannie took their family abt.1803 and went to Amite Co. Ms. If anyone has any info, it would sure help. Thanks Carolyn Austin
