In Genealogical Dictionary of Maine and New Hampshire--Sarah Moore had a son, Ichabod, b 12 Aug. 1712, his father was Ichabod Austin who later married Susanna Young of York. Ichabod may have been the one who drowned at Gloucester 17 Mar. 1734/35. Many years ago I received from researchers in Maine, a handwritten and hard to read account with a note at the beginning, saying that it was copied from "Old Records of Biddeford, Maine". That handwritten account listed 2 daughters: Rebecca and Susanna and a possible son,Ichabod born to Ichabod Austin and Elizabeth Billings. Also recorded were the marriages of both girls--to Rumery and Maddocks. I have had professional researchers trying to find those "OLD' records. They say it is likely legitimate, so I include Rebecca in those Maine Austins. Does anyone have an opinion or a clue as to the "OLD" records and where they could be found? Thank you Ruth Curtis
