Joseph managed the estate and inherited the land in VA from his father, John Austin who died by 1759 Lunenburg Co., VA.! ! Peron Alday is associated with the Richard/son Austin and Isaac Vernon probably sons-in-law. Majer Washington is also mentioned in one report. I never realized your line was from Lauderdale Co., AL area, as my mothers' side of the family was from the Wright area. It is only about 20 miles from there to the Cemetery where Stephen Austin and his wife Dorcas is buried at Hollands Creek Cem., in Hardin Co., TN. Could you send your family line from you backwards to our AUSTIN line, so that I can get your family and e-mail added to my genealogy database, under the correct parents, etc. My line has two of Stephens sons lines. From Stephen backwards; Stephen and Dorcas Pinson, John Jr. and Mary McBee, John Sr. and Hannah Love, Robert Austin and unknown wife..
