Max, I too am researching VT GRIFFINS. Mine originated in Dover, New Hampshire. Came to Chittenden Co.,VT around 1790. Some may have moved to the counties you mentioned. My line comes from Samuel Griffing-Griffin Dover,NH to Essex,VT. Write back if you know about these Griffins. Joan
