My line goes as follows: Richard Austin b abt 1724 Va. married Ann Heard abt 1759 Ch. Jane Austin married John Romley John Austin born abt.1764-65 Married Francis "Fannie" Crittenden Richard and wife Ann are in Ga, by 1770, was granted 100 acres in Quaker com. Wrightsboro, St. Pauls Parish, Ga. Ann Heard Austin died 1787 Wilkes Co. Ga, Richard Austin died 23 May, 1793 Wilkes Co. Ga. Richard Austin was a captain in the minute men, so I don't think he was a quaker at heart. John Austin is my line, he and Fannie married 12 Aug. 1788 in Richmond Co. Ga. In 1803 they obtained a passport thru indian territory, to travel to Amite Co. Ms. Fannie is shown on the 1820 census as head of household with four daughters. Also shown in their own hh were two sons and their families. William Austin married Mary Ann Ferguson Amite Co Ms. Richard Austin married Joannah Ferguson Amite Co. Ms. John Austin Nancy Austin Sarah Austin Fanny Austin Don't have any info on the last 4 children. Richard and William took their families to Ouachita Parish, La. which later became Union Par.
