I am wanting to know the ancestry of the Joseph of Fairfield Co, SC because he married a dau of George LOTT in that county and appears on the 1810 and 1820 census , but does not appear on the 1830 census. I have wondered if this Joseph AUSTIN could have migrated to TN and have been the father of John C. AUSTIN b 1831 TN who married two g grandau of the same George LOTT, whose descendants were in Morgan Co, AL by 1830??
