>From Helen Austin: I thought some of you who are desc. from Wealthy Preuitt and AUSTIN might want to know that some of Wealthy's siblings came to Tn and then to Lawrence Co, AL. Many Preuitt as well as Austin desc are in North AL counties of Lawrence, Morgan, Madison. I have their genealogy and descendancy from the father of Wealthy who served in the same war unit with AUSTIN. That is one reason I have been looking so closely at this John AUSTIN of Lunenberg, VA line. Wondering if it is a coincidence that some of this Preuitt family is buried next to John C. Austin 1831TN-1907AL in the Mountain Springs graveyard in the Banhead National Forest, Lawrence Co, AL !! Note to Debbie W. (don't remember your address) Did you know that Eddie Preuitt whose ads for his Ford Auto dealership show often on the TV in Huntsville, AL, is one of these descendants of the Preuitt family of Southside VA ?
