Elizabeth had 3 brothers, Samuel, who died in 1657 age 10, John and Thomas. John and Catherine came to New London in 1647 and to Greenwich in 1651. Their origin is unknown. John has been confused with Jonah Austin from Tenterden, Kent who settled in Taunton, MA with his wife Constance Kent, widow of William Robinson. It has also been suggested that he was son of Benjamin b 1620/21 in Horsmondon, Kent. There was such a John but no evidence it was this John.
