Linn Co marriage records show Andrew Jackson AUSTIN and Margaret Jane SITNER (LIGHTNER?) married 18 Feb 1846. J. K. Hawkins, minister. NOTE: Also in Linn Co marriage records are: Alexander AUSTIN and Seanie CARUTH married 17 April 1850. Are Jackson & Alexander related? Sarah married Calice BOUDREAU 10 Dec 1873 in Grundy Co, MO. Sarah died 22 Oct 1901 in St. Catherine, Linn Co., MO. Grundy County, MO census of 1860 lists: AUSTIN, Jackson 33 b. MO 1827 (however Sarah's obit shows Jackson born in VA) Margaret 35 b. VA 1825 Eliza 11 b. MO 1849 Sarah L. 9 b. MO 1851 Susan 2 b. MO 1858 There must have been two sons born to Jackson and Margaret as Sarah's obit states two brothers survive her.
