My ancestor is John C AUSTIN. He married Mary Ann GURLEY in Coweta County on January 13, 1829. He was born around 1810 in SC. He is found in the 1840 and 1850 census's (sp?) in Paulding county GA. I have been trying to find information on his father for 2 years now without success. Family history suggests that his name was John also. It seems that a lad of 19 or younger would have had his father around close by but that is just a guess.
