Although I wish official confirmation was stronger, it seems apparent our line goes back to Robert Austin of Rhode Island. If our personal family information is correct, James Austin and Ruth Fish had several children in addition to those given by Edith Austin Moore. Among them was James Jr. (1808 - 1888) who married 1. Miss Pratt in 1832; 2. Anna Macy in Dec. 2, 1846 and 3. Mary Templeton, Oct. 17, 1868. Our particular line comes from Preserved Fish Austin, son of James Jr. and Miss Pratt. Am particularly interested in confirmation of James Jr. as a son of James Austin and Ruth Fish. Jerry Austin
