Hello Fellow Austin Researchers, I have just begun to research my AUSTIN line and have very little information to go on. I have just joined this list, so I will post what I have and hope for a connection. Any help will be appreciated. Edith AUSTIN b. 3 Sep 1810 d. 12 Nov 1875 buried: Robey Cem., Franklin, Simpson Co., Kentucky, on stone is: Daughter of Thomas and Frances AUSTIN sp. Thomas Sidney JONES b. 20 Apr 1803 d. 26 Sep 1887 I think that Thomas AUSTIN came from Maryland in 1803 and settled in Sumner County, TN just across the state line from KY. If this is the right Thomas AUSTIN, he had 8 children total with one being a son named John Allen AUSTIN, but I don't know the names of the rest. I know the house where he lived and it is supposedly one of the first brick houses in the area and is still standing and occupied.
