Austin b/abt.1858-England lived in Labette, Parsons, Kansas per the 1880 census Alfred married Edith M. Smith in Oakland on Feb. 2, 1880 - Found on the Schuler County, Illinois, Marriage Register Alfred's father was Alfred Francis Austin, his mother was Louisa Charity Fletcher Alfred J. Austin must have died between 1900 and 1910. His wife is on the 1900 census listed as married, living in Labette, Parsons City, Kansas, but no husband showing in the household and home with her two children, Perry G and Ada C. By the 1910 census, Edith is listed as widowed. So where was Alfred in 1900 ? When did Alfred die ? Any help would be so greatly appreciated ! Leta leta.sheaffer@verizon.net
