Hi List I'm new and would like to introduce myself; My name is Peter Austen and I live in South-east England, fairly close to Gatwick airport. My oldest traced relative is my GGG Grandfather William Austen who was born c1777 in or near Leigh Kent, he married Sarah Chatfield at Leigh parish church 15 SEP 1805 . They then turn up in Weald Village near Sevenoaks on the 1841 census. They produced three sons William 1811 ( my GG Grandfather ) Edmund 1815 and John1821. I have substantial history of my line after this and would be delighted to share it with anyone who has , or thinks they have , a tie in.
