Below I have listed the Rev War Patriots as listed by the DAR. These men have been documented to have performed service as noted, unless there is a notation otherwise. Some of the older applications weren't well documented so they are listed but any future applicants have to document.. that is usually in red. (Not sure how it will come through on this email???) Make note that some patriots had more than one wife. Those entries are counted as two or more.. e.g. If a man had two wives, that is counted as two entries.. The number of Austin patriots are listed as 98 entries. If anyone has a patriot or suspects they have a patriot, the name may be spelled as AUSTEN in your records, but the DAR Patriot Index lists all of them as AUSTIN.
