Rene, I've checked the CA Death Index 1940-2000 and don't find anyone who seems to fit your description. There are a number of George Austins listed, but no George T. Austin born c1920 who died in the late 1960s or early '70s in Los Angeles Co. None of the others seem to fit either. Only one was listed as having been born in GA in 1864.
