Generation No. 1 1. WILLIAM1 NICHOLS was born Abt. 1784 in Georgia, and died January 16, 1865 in , Shelby, Illinois. He married PERNULIAH ? 1805(marraige cert.) in Kentucky. She was born Abt. 1787 in North Carolina. Also married Mary Myers (marriage cert 12-09-1858.) So fisrt wife Pernuliah Pugh Nichols died before 1858 in Shelby ILL as she was on the 1850 Shelby IL.census with him. William and Mary are on the 1860 Shelby census but William died before 1870 census. I have not been able to find a death on William or his 1st wife. Thank you all in advance for any help.
