Union.   Please reply if you know which family belonged to this JESSE W. AUSTIN Also, I would like to have any additional information that you might share with me for possible future publication in AFAOA Newsletter.   MILITARY RECORD:  Jesse W. Austin b 1844, was age 19 when enlisted 25 Sep 1863 at Fayette Co, AL. He mustered in at Glendale, MS 25 Sep 1863. but died in Memphis, TN 25 Mar 1864 in the Overton Military Hospital of measles.  According to Glenda Todd, he may be the Austin buried in Grave 1-14 Memphis National Cemetery.   I have not yet found JESSE W. AUSTIN on the census.  There are some Austins in Fayette Co, AL but I do not see Jesse listed with them.   ???????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????
