He was a loving husband to his wife of 36 years, Teresa (Elliott) Austin, a father of three, Michael and David Austin, and daughter Stephenie Gubac. He was a "PAPA" of seven, with a great granddaughter on the way. He loved going to sporting events to watch his grandchildren excel, and hosting pool parties for family and friends. Steve was a proud US Marine. He worked in the Sales Industry selling just about everything you can imagine. After retiring from Institutional Food Sales in 2006, he continued to sell Real Estate for fun. He enjoyed fishing, golf, reading, writing letters to the editor, and tending to his annual tomato garden. He is remembered for his sense of humor, and love for his family. A Celebration of Life Memorial will be held in his honor at the Ambler's Club, 2000 Amblers Club Ln., Stockton, CA on February 6, 2016 from 12-3 pm.
