My Austin ancestors (only have one name so far) was Rosannah Austin, born about 1816, married Squire Waters. 1880 Cannon County, TN census shows her as 66 years old, born in Virginia. It shows her mother in Virginia and her father born in England. Note: Census for Warren County, TN for 1850 says she was born in TN. I have not been able to find my record, but did have a census in one or other of these counties that showed an Austin family near, and I think the head of household was a doctor. Do not know of a relationship. Bonnie
