I am looking for any information from my earliest ancestor I can find. John Austin, born abt 1748 or 1755, died in 1806 in Johnston County, North Carolina, he was married to a Mary. There were several children from their marriage: my direct line is thru his son John Austin born 30 Mar 1774 in Johnston County, NC, died in 1846 in Dale County, Alabama. John married Sarah Youngblodd in 1803 in NC. They moved from NC to Georgia, sometimes after their marriage with several other families. Later after their stay in Georgia and the birth of another couple of children they relocated over into Dale County, Alabama. My particular interest is who was John's (1748-1806) parents, where did they originate from, and John (1774-1846 had a son Green Austin 1807-1847 who is my direct great, great grandfather, but the information is limited on him. Also, I have done the Austin Project DNA and I was wondering if anyone from this line of Austin's had submitted to it? Thanks, very much for any information that someone may have.
