Lodi, CA Sept. 10, 1950 - Feb. 1, 2011 John David Austin, 60, a lifetime area resident, was born September 10, 1950 and passed away, February 1, 2011. John attended local schools and received a BA Degree in History at Cal State Hayward. He was a U.S. Army Veteran. John owned a General Contracting business for many years. In December 2009, he retired after working 15 years for the City of Stockton in their Craft Building Maintenance Department. He enjoyed watching sports, and he loved the outdoors, enjoying many days with his family at their cabin in Kirkwood. John is survived by his beloved wife of 38 years, Lynne Austin. He was the devoted father of Nancy Austin Morales (Kindelberg), Jeannie Austin and Mary Austin (Ryan Malloy). Loving brother of Kathleen Henderson and Stephen Austin (Teresa).
