Today I found a large family of Thompsons who arrived in Sydney on the "James Harris" on 1 May 1834 from London. I am related to one of them and I was wondering if any of them appear in someone else's family tree. They are: Joseph Thompson (2) age 55 Linen Draper (b.1779 Daventry Northampton, son of Joseph Thompson (1) and Anne Poole) Mary Thompson his wife (nee Brown, dau of John Brown - Leiut on George III's yacht) Ann Thompson age 21 - m. Rees Jones in Sydney on 3.3.1838 Elizabeth Thompson age 19 Susan Thompson age 17 John Thompson age 15 Henry Thompson age 13 Samuel Thompson age 65 Linen draper (oldest brother of Joseph (2) above) Joseph Thompson (3) age 20 Painter and Stainer (presumably Samuel's son or grandson) I look forward to hearing from you Sybil Cameron
