Dear List, I have a huge favour to ask someone who has access to a national Australian newspaper archive. My mother's great aunt emigrated to Australia. She and her husband had at least three children but I do not know whether they were born in England or Australia. One of the girls, whose name was Irene, married and had a child called Brenda. In March 1930, Irene's husband murdered her and the little girl, Brenda who was six years old. I am hoping this would have been reported in a newspaper somewhere. I am afraid I have no surnames or place names, this is why it is such a huge favour to ask. I have a photograph of the three of them. On the back it refers to Irene as Renie and says it was taken 10 weeks before their death. The photo is dated January 13th 1930 so I should think they died in March or April of that year. If anyone can help with this I would be so grateful. I am in England and have no idea where to begin searching. I could send a scan of the photo and the writing on the back if it will help. Thank you for reading this, Jane
