    3. Hi Trevor, this is not my list, Raymond is the Administrator here and it is him you should have checked with first. These lists are for researching and helping others by sharing information, there is a site for posting events and I think this would be more appropriate for your message. To subscribe go to [email protected] and type in subscribe. For more information about this list please visit the web page http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/~ausgenres/ I'm sure I speak for quite a few others as it gets very annoying when people join up the list and start advertising other lists. This list has an incredible amount of resources and knowledge available amongst it's members and we all love helping one another out and bashing down brick walls where we can. Your apology is accepted :-) Cheers, Robynne ----- Original Message ----- From: Trevor Rhodes To: Robynne ; [email protected] Sent: Monday, September 24, 2001 4:02 PM Subject: RE: [A.G.R. ] Aus FHS Webmasters Hello Robynne, You know, you're right. I should have asked your permision first. I apologise to you and the list. Regards Trevor > Trevor, I find this sort of posting to be extremely rude and > invasive. 3. Hello Robynne, I wasn't really expecting that you were the List Administrator as I've never been spoken to as rudely as you did by any List Administrator. I admit I should have asked, but as you aren't the List Administrator you had no right whatsoever to send an email to me complaining as you did. I sent the same message to other lists, all of which I asked permission from the Adminstrator. This list was just a case of making a mistake. Not knowing you, and not having your skills of knowing what others would and wouldn't do, I can only wonder what you would do if someone jumped on you everytime you made a mistake. I can only hope that this is a case of you having a bad day and you aren't normally so unthinking and quick to accuse. It might have been nicer to just ask me not to do it again in future. I would gladly oblige. I would also like to take this opportunity to apologise to the list and the real List Administrator for any inconvenience I may have caused. Kindest Regards Trevor Hi Trevor, this is not my list, Raymond is the Administrator here and it is him you should have checked with first.
