Looking for any information/connection re the following names - all children of Norman and Ann (MacLean) - all born Isle of Skye. Norman died aboard Wanata 1852 just after leaving Liverpool. MCNEIL - Peggy born / christened 23/6/1829 MCNEIL - Angus - 30/1/1830 MCNEIL - Allan - 8/3/1832 d 3/8/1852 MCNEIL - Anne - born c. 16/5/1837 - we can help out with this one d 30/3/1862 MCNEIL - Donald - 2/1/1835 - we have some of this one died 13/8/1901 - Yan Yean area of Victoria buried Strathallan Cemetery (now Preston) MCNEIL -Ewan/EWen - 12/7/1837 MCNEIL - Hugh c 1839 d c 19/7/1852 MCNEIL - Alexander - 6/5/1839 possibly went to the western district of Victoria MCNEIL - Christy - was last known whereabouts Strathallan outside Melbourne in 1862 MCNEIL - Mary - 30/12/1841 d Northcote 1922 MCNEIL - Betty - 29/12/1843 MCNEIL - Martin - 12/1/1846 MCNEIL - Marjery - 20/6/1849 MCNEIL - Betsy - about 1851 All of the above (apart from those who died on board) arrived in Victoria in 1852 aboard the Wanata. We have had trouble locating information on most of the surviving children. Definite for Anne McNeil, but nothing on her siblings. Anyone who can connect or help, PLEASE contact me.
