Hi Listers, Is anyone on the list researching a Saxby family? I need some help please! I am trying to help a friend find their ancestor. His name was Charles Saxby born circa 1841 in East Sussex (probably Battle or Hastings) We don't know his parents names. Marriage and Death certificates did not state his parents names. He married Margaret Davis in 1873 in Newcastle NSW. His children's names were: Mary, Charles, Joseph, William, Diana, Elizabeth and Muriel. We are trying to find who his parents were and when he arrived in Australia = name of ship and date of arrival. Any information will be gratefully appreciated. TIA Marie
