Hi , I am looking for James Beams born in 1767 died in 1861.He appeared on the scene in Wilkes, North Carolina in 1793 when he married Nancy Lay.They then moved to Knox Co Tennessee , then to Kentucky where he died in Whitley Co. I can find nothing on him here and thought he might be one of the Beams convicts. He is the ggg grandfather of my husband.I would like to find out where he was from and who his parent's were.
