    3. Hi Everyone Could someone please help me with this answer... If someone changes their name via deed poll will their original birth certificate be listed under the new name or both or their original born name?? Regards Cheryl

    3. If you change your name now you do it at the Registry of Births Deaths and Marriages and yes your birth certificate is changed or at least a new one is issued. This has been the case for the last 25 years to my knowledge. If you signed a document called a Deed Poll, the birth certificate was not changed.
