Hello listers, I am trying to locate any person who may be researching or related to William Powell and Sophia Soar. They married at St Johns in Adelaide, 23 December in 1852 and had a very large family (9 children). They both died in Murray Bridge area and are buried there. I would like to trace William but cannot find where he came from or when he came into Australia. Sophia came to Australia from Derby England in 1849 on the Cheapside. William was 23 and Sophia 17 when they married. If anyone knows or has any further information I would like to hear from you. regards Heather Best Mackay Queensland.
