Hi Shelley The Spence name rings a slight bell in my line. Probably no connection, with yours being Melbourne and mine being Adelaide, but nothing ventured..... My grandmother on my mother`s side was a Mary Louisa Spence, born 25/1/1872 in Glenelg, South Australia. I am not sure whether she was descended from English or Scottish stock. She married Matts Sundberg (Finnish born). His is the line I am "trying" to follow at the moment, having gone as far as I can on my father`s side. Good luck with your search Gwenda ----- Original Message ----- From: s clarke <mercury3@webone.com.au> To: <AUSSIE-GEN-RESEARCH-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Friday, April 25, 2003 8:20 AM Subject: Re: [A.G.R. ] Re: Melbourne General Cemetery Inscriptions - Look-up's
