Hi Peter On my road atlas it appears to be a very small town south of Yass, I guess about 35 km on the road to Wee Jasper. This road appears to be an alternative route on a minor road to Tumut. Hi 1857 wedding of 23-year old Catherine McDonald and 39 year-old William Bree Johnson; And their parents listed below. Discovered many Johnsons in my line today - William Bree Johnson, son of William Johnson and Elizabeth nee Bree. WB came from Geelong and was a shoemaker. William Bree J. marr Catherine Elizabeth McDonald, dau of Allan McDonald, farmer, and Catherine nee McMaster. Catherine had a John McDonald witness her wedding in 1857. She came from Geelong. I have found one of my Ancestors name on the Australian Gen.Computer Index. and would like to follow it up. Would some kind person know where I could do a look-up for the following:- I would be willing to pay to get a transcription, but don't know who or what organization does it. SEACOMB Alex NSW Syd. 16/8/1880, arrived dom.ship, records NAO Reel 443. Keilawarra. It was on the Inwards ship.list - Sydney 6/1880 - 11/1880. It appears that the records are kept at NSW State Records at The Rocks, Sydney. It also appears that there is no way I can get any information on them unless I visit The Rocks. Unfortunately, I live in N.Qld. and this is not possible. Does anyone know if there is anywhere else I can get the information. I want to know where the ship left from, or the various ports of call. There is another one I would like to know where the ship left from : SECCOMB W. NSW Sydney 9/1/1854 arrived domestic ship. Records NAO Reel 399, Hellisport. Hoping someone can help me, Maureen
