He moved to WA with his brother, Joseph, ca 1896-1900, and married Lydia COOMBE in Fremantle about 1912. He was a miner and died at Meekatharra on October 17, 1935. Besides designing His Majesty's Theatre, he also designed the Royal Arcade for the McNESS family on the corner of Hay and Barrack streets, and the Jewish Synagogue that once stood in Brisbane Street. He married in 1883 and had four sons and six daughters. Theatre historian David HOUGH would like to hear from any descendants of William WOLF and anyone familiar with any other buildings he designed. Duncan died on September 28, 1935, and is buried in Karrakatta Cemetery. He was general manager of Associated Gold Mines of WA for 23 years. Duncan and Nancy had two children, Campbell and Margot. It was produced in 1960 but never released on video or DVD. In 1940, the merchant French ship Comisair Ramel was torpedoed and sunk by a German raider ship, the Atlantis, when 10 days out of Fremantle. The writer was one of the few survivors. The exploits of the Atlantis were depicted in the film. He would like to know whether anyone has a copy or perhaps a viewing could be arranged. Contact: B.
