CANON McCLEMANS : Help is sought for a biography about Canon McCLEMANS who was educated at Trinity College, Dublin and ordained in Perth in the then Church of England in 1899. He was curate of Greenbushes 1899-1901 and Rector of Day Dawn / Cue 1901-02, Geraldton 1902-05, Boulder 1905-07, and Christ Church Claremont, 1907-1922. During this time he founded the school which would become Christchurch Grammar School. He served as a Chaplain during WWI on the Western Front (1915-1917). Later, in 1922, personal circumstances led to his resignation from active ministry and he took up farming in the Wongan Hills area for the next 20 years.
