Hi listers I have started tracing the ancestors of my husband. The PREEDY family is linked to Queens Park, Perth. Michael DODD arrived in Australia as a convict on the Stag in 1855 married Elizabeth SMITH in 1865. Smith came to Australia with Pensioner Guard father William SMITH. Hi Sue, Yes, I am the greatgrand-daughter of Michael DODD and Elizabeth Smith.. I have several family members, and all are still searching for the marriage date of Michael & Elizabeth, none of us can find it anywhere. Hoping you may shed some light on this problem Of their children , James May Dodd was my grandfather, born 5th May 1869, he married Mary Jane Morley 18th May 1893, reulting in my father Thomas Mervyn Dodd, born 30th July 1910, he married Joyce Motteram resulting in my birth in 1939, and then my brother Mervyn was born in 1940 Where do you come in the family line.?
