Hi All, I have just subscribed to this list as I have learnt that Martha THOMAS (nee LAMB) died on 5 November 1919 in PERTH. She was born in Calais and immigrated to Australia at the age of 4 with her parents. They were among the lacemakers of Calais who came as a group to Australia in the late 1840's. She married Thomas THOMAS (born in Wales ~1828) in Victoria. They had about 13 children in Victoria but I have found very few death records in Victoria. Thomas THOMAS died in Stawell in 1890. Now that I know that Martha died in Perth I was wondering how many of their children ended up there too. In particular I believe that their son David THOMAS (b. 1871 at pleasant Creek, Victoria) may have in turn had a son David THOMAS (b. 9 December 1922) who ended up in Western Australia.
