Chris lived well into his 8Os and was prominent in the Freemasons. Before the war, the English brothers had cleared land for the WATSON and HAGBOOM families in Dowerin and then bought their own farm at Ucarty. A book is being written about the brothers and the author is visiting Perth next week.
