They show three of his mates in the 29th Battalion and the sweetheart of one of them. The writer is currently visiting WA from Sydney and would love to hear from their families to pass on the photos. Pictured are Francis Charles DEDMAN (killed in action at Flers, France in November 1916) and his twin brother Arthur William (returned homed to Mt Lawley in 1919), Matthew Paul CUSACK (returned home 1918) and Miss Hazel BENNETTS of Gloster Street, Subiaco.
