Hello List, Just like to give an update on my Evander Cameron MCMILLAN, to sit in the archives along with my previous query about him - it may help another future researcher. I have purchased his death certificate, which has confirmed that he was the son of John MCMILLAN, publican and Mary HUNT. [He was born Melbourne 1846] He was a labourer, and died at the Old Men's Home, Claremont. It was stated that he had been in WA for 19 years, birthplace unknown. In the marriage/issue section , it was ruled through - no indication that the info was unknown or not applicable. Burial records from Karrakatta indicate that he was buried in a pauper's grave, two others buried prior to him in 1917, William WILSON and Malcolm STEWART both from Claremont.
