Hello List Readers, I am new to your list and seeking help in tracing any information about Percy Edward James DREW who left from England for Australia about 1922. The little information that I have is from his death certificate issued in NSW. P E J Drew died in Sydney in 1946 at the age of 69. He had lived in Western Australia and NSW for 24 years. He was a wood machinist by trade - acquired the skill in Australia? He had served in both the Royal and Mercantile Navies but was discharged - medically unfit. He married in 1901 and was living in Southampton, England until 1907. For reasons unknown, he left his wife at the time of birth of their only child - 1907. Nothing was known about his whereabouts until a few weeks ago when his death was located in Australia. On his son's marriage certificate - 1929 - he is listed as being deceased! He bigamously married Harriett Alice Holland - a widow, formerly Linnett, in Sydney in 1935. Any help in finding any information on this man would be greatly appreciated. Thank you. Marjorie E Drew
