Does anyone have any information on how one can access the paperwork that the Australian "War Brides" completed prior to leaving Fremantle in early 1946 on US transport ships? Are files for these brides of American servicemen available for research? I was thinking that the passport application paperwork would contain a lot of valuable genealogical information and would be interesting reading for the descendants of these women.
