His sister, Elizabeth Ann McANDREW, farmed at Yelbeni. She died in 1958. Information is sought for a McANDREW family history and identification of a photograph taken in 1937. MORRIS : Grandfather, George W. MORRIS ("Bunny") lived in the Mingenew/Three Springs area during the 1940s. He is believed to have died while working as a vermin inspector for the Agriculture Department. He was a member of the Lodge and also played the violin. Any information appreciated. RAILWAY EQUIPMENT : The Merredin Railway Station Museum is looking for a hand-powered railway tricycle work trolley. These machines were three-wheeled. Two wheels traversed on one rail and one wheel on the other, generally with a wooden tray for carrying equipment between driver's seat and single wheel side. The trolley was mostly worked by runners who patrolled the railway lines looking for faults. FEEDBACK : we are pleased to report the search for a groper motor (21/11) met with success. They emigrated to WA with their family in 1923-4, sailing on the Euripides. Their children Alfred, Violet, Joan (dec), Doreen, Gwen were born in the UK, then Aubrey, Sheila, Kathleen, Gordon Leslie and Ken were born in WA. ARMY ENGINEERS : The RAE Association of WA is reaching out to all sappers in WA to come and join the association to once again enjoy the comradeship of other sappers. They have a big membership from all eras of engineering and mix together in harmony and mutual support. They take members from other armies' engineers and include ex-REs, Irish sappers, US Engineer Corps etc. The association has a fine memorial at Karrakatta. There are still some 500 ex-sappers in WA who haven't joined yet and it is hoped to round them up before next Anzac Day.
