    1. George Mackay
    2. Looking for information about my great uncle,George Mackay, born 1880 in Skerray,Tongue,Sutherland,Scotland who I'm led to believe emigrated to Australia in early 1900's. His brother,James, had previously moved to Western Australia and served with the AIF in first world war and died in 1925 in Katanning District. I have no information about George other than family history has it that he named his farm(or home) after the area of Skerray where he was born and brought up. This name was AIRD.I am assuming that George would've settled in WA the same as his brother but have no proof of this. Any help in tracing his whereabouts, where he died(assuming he stayed in Australia) would be greatly appreciated. Would also like to find details of ship etc that James came over on. I live in Kincardineshire,Scotland Thankyou Fiona Names I am researching: Orkney - Spence,Hourston,Whitelaw/Whitelay, Brown,Louttit,Wylie,Banks,Laird,Angel,Drever, and various others, Caithness - Bain,Sinclair,Henderson,Gunn,Dunnetand various others, Sutherland - Mackay,Manson,Morrison, various others
